Matt creates comics that connect, inspire, and reflect real-life struggles we all face. Whether it’s navigating love, confidence, or those mental hoops life throws at us, Matt’s work embraces it all with humor and heart.
His personal challenge—learning to see his own body as sexy—fuels Bo & Beau, a series that celebrates body positivity, love, and self-acceptance. Matt also uses the comic to explore masculinity, showcasing the many positive and meaningful ways it can be expressed. Through these characters, Matt hopes others will see themselves, feel less alone, and recognize that they, too, are beautiful and valid just as they are.
Andrew Stanislaw-Davis
Andrew is the storytelling co-pilot behind Bo & Beau, helping bring their adventures to life with heart, humor, and a knack for getting Beau into awkward situations. While not an artist himself, Andrew worked alongside Matt to dream up these characters and their lives—proof that two heads (and a lot of daydreaming) are better than one. His contributions add warmth, wit, and a little extra mischief, making every panel a celebration of love, connection, and the hilariously relatable chaos of being yourself.
Andrew hopes to connect with the queer community through stories that normalize and showcase polyamory in a positive light, proving that love—like life—comes in many wonderful forms.
Our Mission
The mission of Bo & Beau is to celebrate love, connection, and body positivity—while proving that polyamory, self-growth, and shirtless bear hugs are all perfectly normal (and perfectly sexy). With humor, heart, and just the right amount of mischief, the comic showcases the many positive ways masculinity can shine and reminds everyone that love—whether big, messy, or Beautifully unconventional—deserves to be seen, shared, and celebrated.
